| 2008 World Sight Day Celebrations. |
| Prof. Baiyeroju Aderonke Chairperson,OSN South West Zone reported that the zone OSN in conjunction with the Optometrists' Association (Oyo State chapter),Oph thalmic Nurses and Lions Club held the World Sight Day Celebrations at the Adeoyo State Hospital, Ring Road, Ibadan on Thursday 9th October 2008. It was flagged open by the representative of the Oyo State Commissioner of Health, Dr.Owolabi. 705 patients were screened and they were able to get 110 cataract patients for surgery at Adeoyo and UCH simultaneosly, free of charge.
